About the Author

My friends spend their days frolicking in the Pacific waves as they crash onto the beach at Ke'awekapu. Occasionally they lounge in the shade of the five palms that line a grassy knoll there and sip mai-tais and gin and have wonderful conversations about this and that. Meanwhile, I sit among the canvases of paintings stacked in my art studio, just a block away, writing "Another Christmas Tale". But that's okay. I can do two or three years standing on my head.

I came to Maui by accident in 1978 and have made the island my home ever since. One perk that I have as a writer and artist is that I can survive in one place about as well as any other.
